Tebow Super Bowl Ad riles pro-aborts
The Super Bowl advertisment wars have started early this year.
Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow, along with his mother, is going to appear in a 30-second commercial paid for by Focus on the family. The ad will be seen by an estimated 100 million individuals, and cost a little over 2 million dollars to air.
Steven Ertelt at LifeNews explains how pro-abortion groups and so-called women’s organizations are trying to get the ad pulled by CBS.
Over the next couple weeks you will hear lots of reasons why various organizations and individuals want CBS to do this. But there is only one real reason: these figures do not want a hundred million Americans to be exposed to a powerful pro-life message.
After all, Jim Geraghty writes “We’ve seen GoDaddy and endless crass Super Bowl ads, but Isn’t it great Tim Tebow wasn’t aborted crosses a line, apparently.”
And Peggy Nance of Concerned Women for America says that she “can’t remember NOW [the pro-abortion National Organization for Women] complaining about misogynistic ads” which have appeared over the years during the Super Bowl.
Pro-abortion and “women’s organizations” have squandered their moral capital, and their “outrage” over the airing of this ad is laughable. If they truly wanted to uplift the dignity of women they would not oppose an ad which only affirms the dignity of a mother choosing life for her child.
I’m happy to see that CBS is realizing that times are changing fast, and that America is becoming more and more open to the message of life.
Last year CatholicVote’s Imagine spot was rejected by both CNN and NBC. It went on, however, to become an internet hit, and will soon pass two million views on YouTube:
It is the pro-life choice of Tim Tebow’s mom that represents the future.
She imagined the potential.

I believe that excepting life is the choice and everything that LIFE stands for: the right to see, feel, smell, hear and taste and overall discover the wonders of this plant. Start by making the choice of responsibility , take care of yourself so you don’t get pregnant and if by chance you do consider yourself blessed and remember that someone out there is waiting for a chance to make a difference in someones life . By giving two opportunities one to the unborn child and to someone that truly cares and is awaiting the chance to give all the Love, and happiness that they abundantly have in their heart to share. Your possible nightmare can become someone incredible Dream come true!! The Right to Life is the greatest gift you can give. Love Life!!!
Bravo, Mr Mc Manus !
I have 4 ADOPTED children, who could have ended up, DEAD in a garbage can after an abortion.
Thanks to the courage of their biological mothers, who chose to give them life, even if they had to give them up after their birth, I have been blessed with a family.
These women gave me the oportunity to raise 4 wonderful children.
ABORTIONS would have TERMINATED their 4 LIVES !
Dear Mr. McManus,
I want to thank you for airing the Tim Tebow ad. I watch the Super Bowl with my family. It will be a refreshing change to watch a family friendly commercial. Thank You from the families of America.

Dear McManus:
Thank you for running the add with Tim Tebow and his mother, for the pro life add.
The Focus on the Family is so very important, as the saying goes American is as strong as its family.

CBS should listen to their viewers, If they get plenty of people saying they want to see these commercials than they should as they are super inspiring tool.
I am the mother of a beautiful girl who wanted to abort the child of a rape. Through the help of the Holy Spirit I was able to talk her out of it. This beautiful boy, now 9 years old, not only has brought us closer together as mother and child but the whole family as well. We are all involved in his upbriging, education, etc.
I admire Mr. Tebow and his admirable mother for sharing with the whole world their experience. Our whole family support Focus and CBS for taking this HUGE step in reminding Americans that the family is the base of our society.
We can’t wait to see the add during the Super Bowl!!! GO Mr. McManus : )
The decision of Tebow’s mother of not aborting him is commendable. America should be proud of Tebow’s success that he could not have achieved if his mother chose to abort him. Thank you very much Mr. McManus for running the ad from Focus on the Family. It could be a wake-up call for the Pro-Abortionists who label themselves as Pro-Choice.
