5,000 Fans for 5,000 Posts!
This post marks one milestone (and hopefully another) … it’s post #5,000 since I began AmP almost five years ago!
Hopefully it will also be the occasion to round up the last twenty or so papists with Facebook accounts to join my official AmP page - now 4,979 papists strong!
The picture at right was my first profile picture on americanpapist.blogspot.com … way back in the day.
Thanks again for everything you have done over the years to make AmP a strong, vibrant community of hopefully-committed papists.
Here’s to another five years and five thousand posts!

I hope and pray that i can be able to access the AMP fb fan page. as of today, i still cant.
I’ve been having the same problem as Joe with Facebook. I used to read you mostly on FB, and then several months ago, I could no longer see your profile or click on your posts. What’s up?

Even if your blog is very rich on US-based content, you are a constant source of inspiration for many Catholics the other side of the Pond.
I am doing my daily blog read and wasn’t aware that I wasn’t a facebook fan of AmP. Not to boast, but I was the 5,000th fan! Go AmP!

Thomas, congrats on this milestone! I am logged into my facebook account, and I cant access the American Papist fan page. I typed in the page address in the address bar while i was logged in, and it went straight to the facebook main page after a person logs in.
