Photo: Largest Crowd Ever at Walk for Life West Coast

by Thomas Peters on January 25th, 2010

News organizations ignore, liberal opinion writers spin, but the photos and evidence below show – tens of thousands of peaceful pro-life walkers filled San Francisco’s waterfront for the sixth year last Saturday:

You know, Thom, you participated in this march, too. In 1985. I remember, even if you don’t. Love, Dad.

I think that an estimate of 35 to 40 thousand participants is right on the mark. Understand that 175+ busses brought in folks from places like Sacramento, Reno, the Central Valley, etc., but certainly the Bay Area counties are well represented. It’s so great to see the young there in force!

@JD: Here’s a picture of Archbishop Niederauer of San Francisco with his brother Bishops Walsh of Santa Rosa, Cordileone of Oakland and del Riego of San Bernardino. They were getting soaked in the rain like the rest of us witnessing for the unborn at the Walk for Life West Coast. He also celebrated the Mass prior to the Walk at the Cathedral. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_qnSzhomZEbY/S1ujz3TAfrI/AAAAAAAAABg/2bgegblG538/s1600-h/bishops_prayer.jpg

Nice picture. I can’t find an overheard shot of the DC March for Life that shows just how many people were there. Does anybody know of one?

Go to the local papers and thank them for covering the Walk (SF Chronicle had no coverage last year!) AND ask them to correct their numbers of how many attended! At least the Chron got the number of counter demonstrators right- “a few dozen”.

If this were a pro-gay marriage rally and ten people showed up the left-wing loon media would take a photo of the 10 and then claim thousands, nay millions, were surrounding them. Until this media is out of business, lies will be displayed more prominently than truth (and yes, the media is the alter ego of the Democratic Party)

I didn’t think that there were that many Pro Lifers in San Francisco! I couldn’t help but notice the Archbishop was not there. Did Pelosi not give him permission to go?
