This weekend: pray for the unborn!

Make no mistake, the upcoming week could see some of the most consequential votes in Congress when it comes to the plight of the unborn that we’ve witnessed in a generation.
The Diocese of Arlington is calling for a day of prayer and fasting this Monday. Individual Catholics are welcomed to do the same. Across many parts of the country, bishops and priests will preach on the importance of defending unborn life in the public square. Here is the press release from the Diocese of Arlington:
Catholic teaching tells us that our support for the dignity of life includes access to affordable health care. This support, however, cannot come at the expense of the respect for life at all stages, from natural conception to natural death. As negotiations that are now underway could lead to further Congressional action very soon, in accord with Canon 1244, paragraph 2, I invite you to take part in a day of prayer and fasting on Monday, March 15 for protecting the life, dignity, health and conscience rights of every human person in any legislation that Congress considers. For shame: Catholic Hospitals have endorsed Obamacare WITH abortion
Maybe some special prayers for the intercession of St. Patrick and St. Joseph, both of whose feasts are this coming week.
What a defilement if they pass this monstrosity now!
