Dear Congressman Kildee,

As a pro-life American, I urge you to stand strong on your position to keep the pro-abortion Senate language out of the current healthcare reform. As you know, this is an issue of great importance to all of us now; an issue that will undoubtedly have grave consequences if the dignity of human life is not upheld. Please listen to your conscience and to your pro-life constituency, who overwhelmingly desire the pro-abortion language stricken from the legislation.

Thank you for your time.

http://www.alternet.org/story/145956/utah_governor_signs_controversial_law_charging_women_and_girls_with_murder_for_miscarriages
Did anyone see this? Aparently the Utah Governor Signs Controversial Law Charging Women and Girls With Murder for Miscarriages. It was supposed to be only in cases where there were reckless or knowing or intentional acts. But someone revised it, and took that language out, and the governor signed it into law.

Breaking News:

I just called Rep. Kildee's DC office and spoke with a lovely young woman who said, "At this time, I understand that Rep. Kildee plans to vote for this health reform bill [as it stands], but he is carefully reviewing the language to make sure there are adequate protections [against abortion]." Whatever "carefully reviewing" means!

It looks like he's flip-flopping -- and these are the words of his own staffer less than five minutes ago!

What the Sam Hill is going on here? Rumors were flying just yesterday about Stupak allegedly being ready to cave. Deja vu all over again.
I hate to sound paranoid but is someone deliberately spreading false rumors about Stupak, Kildee, and other pro-life Dems thinking it will convince the rest to fold?
